**Private Client Lawyer – Hassocks

**The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer with 5+ years PQE to join our dynamic team in Hassocks. Our private client department is known for its strong client relationships and delivering legal services to local individuals. As part of our growth, we are looking for a lawyer who can bring their expertise to a busy and expanding team.

**Key Responsibilities:

• Wills: Drafting, reviewing, and advising on wills to ensure they meet clients' needs and legal requirements. • Powers of Attorney: Advising on and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, ensuring clients' wishes are clearly documented. • Trusts: Establishing and managing trusts, providing advice on the best structure to meet clients' financial and personal objectives. • Tax Work: Offering advice on inheritance tax planning and other relevant tax issues, ensuring clients maximize their tax efficiency. • Estate Administration: Managing the probate process, including applying for grants of probate, and administrating estates in accordance with the law and clients' wishes.

**The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience in the Private Client Sector: Proven experience working within the private client field, with strong technical skills and comprehensive knowledge of relevant legal matters. • Team Collaboration: A demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a supportive and productive working environment. • Client Care: A track record of outstanding client care, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. • Business Development: Experience in business development activities, contributing to the growth of the firm and the private client department. • Independence: The ability to work with minimal supervision, showing initiative and confidence in managing a varied caseload.
