Residential Conveyancing Assistant

Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Residential Conveyancing Assistant to support our busy conveyancing department. The ideal candidate will have experience in shared ownership and be adept at managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing work.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to our conveyancing team. • Assist in managing a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including shared ownership properties. • Ensure all duties are performed efficiently, thoroughly, and with a high level of attention to detail. • Prioritise client care, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction. • Maintain and manage client files, both electronic and physical, ensuring all documentation is up to date. • Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process. • Handle post-completion tasks and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience: • Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Secretary in a residential conveyancing environment. • Familiarity with shared ownership transactions is essential. • Strong organisational and time-management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and conveyancing case management systems. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
